El Clásico: Real Madrid CF 3 - 4 FC Barcelona
As Neymar is about to kick the ball towards goal, Sergio Ramos destabilizes him from behind by pulling back his left shoulder and tripping his left leg. A clear penalty and a rule-book straight red card for fouling from behind.
After the match, Ramos and Ronaldo admitted that the outcome of the match had been predetermined… Perhaps only because Madrid had already predetermined that, when facing a better rival, they were going to commit a lot of fouls and finish the game a man down.
europein2012-deactivated2016080 asked: penalty of cristiano or neymar?
There was no penalty on Cristiano. Maybe a foul. But, penalty not. Clearly outside the area. Now with Neymar, there was a contact. His foot seems to have tangled at the Ramos’ foot and he ended up stumbling. Then comes the question of interpretation. The referee could not have expelled Sergio, since there was only a stumble, but it can be interpreted as a push from behind, or something. Well, it’s a complicated issue, and who has seconds to decide, it gets a little difficult.
